I came across an excellent reminder to mothers in a blog I enjoy reading... it's called girltalk. Anyway, the truth that Carolyn Mahaney reminds us mothers of is that we can NOT save our children. So, how are we to go through life parenting without worrying about their salvation?? Here's a bit of what she says here:
"Nancy Wilson is right:
mothers are tempted to be worriers. And maybe our greatest worry is
about our children's salvation. We know that nothing is so important as
the state of their soul before a Holy God. And if we are unsure about
their salvation, or if we are sure they are not saved, we can be tempted
to worry.
We easily forget that salvation isn't something we give our kids. It is a gift that only God imparts."
I would encourage you mothers out there to read the whole article HERE.

Thanks for that Meg. There was a similar post on Femina blog this week. Here's the link: http://www.feminagirls.com/2011/11/01/worrying-the-kids-away/.
